Videos uploaded to social media and verified by The Times show Ukrainian citizens confronting Russian soldiers.
In one video from Bakhmach in northern Ukraine on Saturday, a man climbs on the front of a Russian tank, then briefly kneels in front of it when it stops, while residents shout at the soldiers.
Another video from Henichesk in the south of the country shows a woman berating a Russian soldier on Thursday. She tells him to put sunflower seeds in his pocket so flowers will grow from his corpse.
“Why the hell did you show up here with weapons,” she shouts.
